This year, students will have the opportunity to choose between fiction and nonfiction for summer reading. The looks from which to choose are listed below. No matter the choice, the activity remains the same for both.  Create a new book cover/jacket with a summary.

Assignment: Create a book jacket for the book you chose using the attached template. (Should you not be able to print the template, simply fold a regular sized piece of paper in half.) Your book jacket should include a creative, colorful, and exciting new cover with title and author clearly visible. On the left side, please include a summary of the book. Make sure to include the major plot events from the story’s beginning, middle, and end.
